Founder and President
Mariano leads Conservation Impact Consulting. He holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with a focus on Agricultural Economics and has undergone extensive training in Human Development. He furthered his education by earning a Master of Environmental Science and Management degree from the University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB), with dual specializations in Coastal Marine Resources Management and Economics and Politics of the Environment.
Mariano’s background includes immersive training as a Graduate Researcher in Impact Investing and Impact Evaluation for conservation projects. He has successfully contributed to conservation initiatives worldwide and his core competencies encompass Impact Measurement
and Evaluation, Environmental and Conservation Science, Project Management, Data Analytics, and Financial Analysis and Modeling.
To cater to the specific requirements of each project, Mariano collaborates primarily with associates at UCSB Bren School, ensuring our readiness to address project-specific needs. Our associates bring specialized expertise in the following areas:
